Mike & Jacqui Simpson, a professional musician and theatre director respectively, set up their workshop business, Inspire-works, in the UK in 2003.

The Largest Samba Band was achieved in 2014 with 1,675 participants at the Royal Albert Hall in London, UK.
The Largest Drumming Lesson was achieved in 2016 with 1,827 participants at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, UK plus a further 10,000 participants online.

Released at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, our #BodyPercussion #RecoveryCurriculum has been used by over 200,000 children in over 1,600 schools in 27 countries.
It focuses on using body percussion exercises which have been proven in evidence-based and peer-reviewed neuroscience studies to reduce stress, boost the immune system and improve creativity.
It is a free resource thanks to funding by the Arts Council England Emergency Response Fund.
