Organise your group to sit in a semi-circle facing the screen and make sure everyone has a drum to
play. Then join in our African drumming workshop video!

Suitable drums:

• Any type of ‘hand’ drum (i.e. a drum played with hands not sticks) – e.g. djembe, conga, timba, pair of bongos etc

• It would be good if at least three people could also have a dunun drum played with a single stick (or classroom substitution – e.g. floor tom, surdo, bass drum) and a bell (e.g. cowbell or agogo bell played with a triangle beater)
